US intel says several Islamist groups involved in bombing US military base in Jordan

The US intelligence services claimed that a number of Islamist groups were involved in the attack on the American military base in Jordan.

White House National Security Council Coordinator John Kirby made the statement in this regard at a briefing with journalists.

"We believe that the attack in Jordan was planned, financed and facilitated by a group called the Islamic Resistance of Iraq, which includes numerous groups, including Kataib Hezbollah," Kirby said.

According to him, such conclusions were reached through data carefully collected and analysed by US intelligence agencies.
