US-Iran talks to determine fate of American troops, warns Iranian spokesman
Negotiations with the United States would serve as a test for President Donald Trump and determine whether American soldiers “go to hell or return to America,” Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, warned.
Writing on X, Rezaei noted that the negotiations’ outcome will directly affect the future presence of US armed forces in the region, Caliber.Az reports.
مذاکرات پنجشنبه آزمونی برای ترامپ است و تعیین میکند که سربازان آمریکایی به جهنم خواهند رفت یا به آمریکا باز خواهند گشت.

The comment comes amid ongoing tensions between Iran and the United States, as well as discussions over a possible reduction of the American military contingent in the Middle East.
In recent weeks, indirect nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States have taken place in Geneva and Oman, with both sides reporting some progress on broad principles but major disagreements remaining on issues such as sanctions relief and nuclear enrichment limits.
Washington has simultaneously significantly increased its military presence in the Middle East, deploying additional naval and air assets — including multiple aircraft carriers — as a deterrence measure amid fears of escalation with Iran.
Iran has responded to the buildup and rhetoric with military drills, temporary closure of the Strait of Hormuz, and warnings that any attack on its territory would have severe consequences, while insisting its nuclear program is peaceful and emphasising rights to enrichment.
