Iran launches drone strikes on US air bases in Bahrain, UAE VIDEO
In response to “attacks on innocent people,” dozens of reconnaissance-strike drones were used to target US facilities in Bahrain and the UAE, the Iranian army press service announced.
The targets in the UAE included radar systems and positions of US military personnel at Al Dhafra and Al Minhad air bases. In Bahrain, facilities at Shaikh Isa Air Base came under attack, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.
“Attacks on residential areas and strikes on wedding ceremonies by the enemy are a clear example of war crimes and expose the vile nature of ‘American human rights,’ and, undoubtedly, the response of army personnel to these numerous crimes will be massive and decisive,” the army's statement added.
Bahraini authorities, however, said Iran continues to pursue a “hostile policy.”
