Ukraine foils alleged FSB terror plot against Russian opposition figure

Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU), together with the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry, has foiled a terrorist attack allegedly planned by Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB).

The attack was being prepared against one of the leaders of a Russian nationalist opposition movement who had arrived in Ukraine for the country’s Independence Day celebrations, Caliber.Az reports, citing the SBU.

Operational and investigative measures are currently underway.

Earlier, reports emerged of a nighttime gunfight in Ukraine.
