Video shows Israeli passenger plane land amid rocket fire VIDEO

A video circulating online shows the moment an Israeli passenger airplane touched down in Tel Aviv amid volleys of rocket fire, launched by Hamas fighters from Gaza on December 8.

As reported by Newsweek, the incident captured in the new video occurred in the evening at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. The footage shows an Arkia Airlines passenger airplane landing amid rocket fire coming from Gaza, and the corresponding response from Israel's Iron Dome defense system intercepting the fire.

"Last night during the shooting from Gaza towards the central settlements - a plane was recorded landing in Israel against the background of the interceptions of the Iron Dome", Israel's N12 News wrote in a post to X.

Local media outlets reported on December 10 that not only Tel Aviv but also the cities of Rehovot and Bat Yam were targeted in these same strikes.
