Volodymyr Kopchak: Ukraine feels and appreciates Azerbaijanis' support Video interview by Caliber.Az
The issue of the ongoing military operations in Ukraine and their impact on the region and the world, in general, remains one of the most urgent. The topic is discussed in the new interview of military correspondent Heydar Mirza with the Ukrainian military expert Volodymyr Kopchak, released on the YouTube channel of Caliber.Az.
As Kopchak noted in his conversation with Mirza, what we are now witnessing is a narrowing of the strategic objectives of the Kremlin's campaign against Ukraine.
"The capture of Kyiv in 3-5 days did not happen, now there is a global operation in the northeast, the most dangerous direction is Lugansk region, there are fights for Sieverodonetsk with an ideal option for them to make an encirclement in the triangle Sieverodonetsk-Rubizhne-Lysychansk.
At the same time, we should not forget about the threats in the Donetsk region. The goal is to get four regions that will be annexed, and Soviet flags will be hoisted there - Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Luhansk and Donetsk," Kopchak said.
He stressed that Türkiye sees itself and Kyiv sees Türkiye as a player, which in the post-war period is ready to participate in the reconstruction of Ukraine.
"Ukraine's subjectivity is enhanced at a very expensive cost. I want to thank Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijanis for their support. We feel it very much and appreciate it," Vladimir Kopchak noted.
