Zelenskyy: Talks to end war must involve leaders, not “technical teams”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has emphasised that negotiations to end the war should take place at the level of national leaders, rather than through “technical teams."
“The US can push Putin toward dialogue. This could be a meeting of leaders in any format. The main goal is to stop the killings. We are open to President Trump’s proposal: a three-party format followed by a bilateral one, or vice versa. But it must involve leaders, not technical teams,” Zelenskyy said in a public address, Caliber.Az reports.
The president also commented on the recent drone incident in Poland, calling for “strong responses.”
“I don’t think NATO has failed. Wherever NATO is present, there is no war. But there needs to be a response. Strong responses are needed,” Zelenskyy stressed.
