Zelenskyy: Ukraine to talk to Russia once it's ready to end war
President Vladimir Zelenskyy has said that Ukraine will talk to Russia when it is ready to end the war.
He made the remarks in an interview with the German TV channel ZDF, UNIAN reports.
"I have no doubt that we are doing the right thing... There is no doubt, that we must act and time itself plays into the hands of the enemy, not us. What is the truth? The fact that we are on our own land, that this is our people, our territory, and it is very painful to lose people... But we will lose everything if we give in to Russia in this war," he said.
President Zelenskyy said that the most important change that has happened to him since the beginning of the war is that he is no longer looking for a balance in order to agree on something.
"We know exactly what we are doing. We have no doubts. We are ready to talk only when the other side is ready to end the war. There is no time for chatter," Zelenskyy stressed.
