Zhaparov: Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan have found reliable friends in each other

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov said Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan have found reliable friends in each other, underscoring the close ties between the two nations.

Speaking at the third meeting of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan Interstate Council in Cholpon-Ata on July 31, Zhaparov said Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan are united by shared historical roots and spiritual closeness, according to AZERTAC.

"Our values are also reflected in the rich cultural heritage of our two peoples. As the great Nizami Ganjavi wisely said: 'Every friend we gain is a gift from heaven.' I would like to note with particular pride that Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan have found reliable friends in each other," Zhaparov said.
