UN issues latest figures on Ukrainian refugees welcomed in Europe

The total number of reported Ukrainian refugees that have found temporary shelter in Europe to escape Russian military attacks has surpassed 4.75 million.
This figure has been updated by the UN’s Refugee Agency’s data portal on the crisis in Ukraine.
According to the UN, Poland and Germany have welcomed over 1 million refugees each since February 24, with Poland hosting by far the largest number of Ukrainians inside its country, surpassing 1.5 million.
The two countries are followed by their European partners of the Czech Republic (462,222), Italy (164,171) and Spain (154,457).
The UN data portal numbers reflect the situation as of November 22.
