EU has no idea who attacked Iran’s drone-making plant, says official
European Union (EU) foreign policy spokesman Peter Stano has said that the EU had no clear understanding of who was involved in the attack on the drone-manufacturing plant in Iran’s Isfahan city, TASS reports.
"We don't know who is behind the attack and what exactly happened. We are following the news coming out of Iran...," Stano said.
He added that all sides should be restrained to prevent a new escalation.
No other comments from the EU foreign policy spokesman are available at this time.
On January 28 evening, a powerful explosion was heard in Isfahan. Iran's defence ministry said it was a "failed attack" by drones. Iranian media reported explosions in at least five provinces. Al Arabiya TV, reported that it was Israel's military operation against Iran.
