Macron awards Zelenskyy highest French award for civil merit
As part of his visit to Paris, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has received the Legion of Honor order from his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.
Macron published on February 8 a video of him presenting the award to Zelenskyy on Twitter, according to Ukrinform.
"Tribute to Ukraine and its people. Tribute to you, dear Volodymyr, for your courage and commitment," the French leader wrote.

During the award ceremony, Zelenskyy said it was not he who deserved this distinction, but all Ukrainian people.
"It's too much for me. That's why [this award] is for all our people, for Ukrainians, for our society," Zelenskyy said.
The Legion of Honor medal is France's highest award for civil merit.
