Czech volunteers send 15 Viktor air defence systems to Ukraine
On March 30, Czech volunteers report that 15 Viktor mobile anti-aircraft systems have already been sent to Ukraine, which were purchased for the funds raised.
This was reported by the volunteers on the Dárek pro Putina (A Gift for Putin) Twitter account, Espreso.tv reports.
Czech volunteers managed to raise EUR 3.75 million.
"It's time to say goodbye. The 15 MR-2 Victor anti-drone systems we raised 90 million from you before Christmas are leaving for the front line," the post reads.

"May you guys shoot accurately in Ukraine, take care of yourself, we will soon send you a Przemysl missile launcher. Fingers crossed," the volunteers added.
Currently, the Czechs are raising money for a Przemysl rocket launcher for the Ukrainian army and 365 missiles.
The Viktor machine gun is a modernized version of the Czech anti-aircraft weapon with twin KPVT machine guns that use 14.5×114 mm ammunition to destroy airborne or, if necessary, ground targets. Its range is over 2 kilometers. The weapon is equipped with a day and night anti-aircraft sight, as well as a sight for direct fire at ground targets.
On November 13, 2022, it became known that a EUR 3.7 million fundraising campaign was launched to buy 15 Viktor systems for Ukraine to fight drones and other targets at low altitudes.
At the time, it was reported that the machine gun would be mounted on a Toyota SUV with a reinforced suspension and a special adapter on the body that allows it to fire from the cabin.
The system has a number of additional equipment. These include a day and night anti-aircraft sight, as well as a sight for direct fire at ground targets. In addition, there are spare barrels that can be quickly replaced in case of overheating.
