PM: Azerbaijan's strategic foreign exchange reserves hit $67 billion

Azerbaijan's strategic foreign exchange reserves have reached $67 billion, 14.5 per cent more than at the beginning of the year.

Prime Minister Ali Asadov announced the figures at an enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Report says.

Asadov noted that the financial situation of the country has significantly improved:

"Formation of a significant surplus of foreign trade balance, reduction of external debt and high indicators of budget revenues for the past period of the current year were assessed as very positive results".
