A panel session on “Women Leading Progress: Water and Sustainable Development Goals” was organised as part of the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) in Dubai, under the patronage of Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak on December 4.

Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Union Leyla Aliyeva, Director General of the UN Geneva Office Tatyana Valovaya, UAE’s Minister of Climate Change and Environment Mariam Almheiri attended the meeting organised by the United Nations (UN) and the General Women's Union, according to Azertac.
