Abramovich rep. denies businessman's property seized in Portugal
The representative of the Russian businessman Roman Abramovich has denied the information that the entrepreneur's property was seized in Portugal.
The publication Publico wrote on May 14 that Portugal had frozen Abramovich's real estate in Quinta do Lago worth 10 million euros.
According to the publication, in February, before the start of the Russian special operation in Ukraine, Millhouse Views LLC, which belongs to Abramovich's holding, tried to sell the businessman's mansion, but the Portuguese state bank Caixa Geral de Depósitos told the police about it.
The registration of property at the request of the Portuguese Foreign Ministry has been frozen since March 25, the publication wrote.
"Mr Abramovich has no property in Portugal," a representative of Abramovich told RIA Novosti.
