Advisor to minister discloses advantages of Türkiye-Azerbaijan University
Azerbaijani Advisor to the Minister of Science and Education Nijat Mammadli has said that admission to the Türkiye-Azerbaijan University will be announced in the next academic year.
“At first enrollees will be admitted to technical and technological faculties. The lessons at the university in the first stage will be conducted in English and Turkish,” Mammadli told journalists, APA reports.
He noted that the most prestigious universities of the two countries will be involved in this project. At the initial stage, there will be a bachelor's degree at the university.
The memorandum on the establishment of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan University was signed on February 19 as part of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Ankara. The document was signed by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Science and Education and the Council for Higher Education of the Republic of Türkiye.
