Afghan security forces rescue kidnapped children in Parwan province

Afghan security forces have successfully rescued four children who were kidnapped in the northern Parwan province, Tolo News reports.

The children went missing several days ago in Balkh, and their rescue on the outskirts of the Salang district was the result of a targeted operation in a key transit area within the mountainous Parwan corridor north of Kabul.

The operation was based on precise intelligence that guided security forces to the location of the kidnappers. The coordinated raid led to the safe release of the children, who were subsequently reunited with their parents, the outlet said.

Authorities have not disclosed the identities of the suspected kidnappers or their motives.
