AFP: Kuwait closes country's only Iranian school

Kuwait has ordered the closure of the country's only Iranian school, AFP reports, citing a source at Kuwait's Ministry of Education.

According to the agency, no official reason was given for the decision, but it comes after a series of Iranian attacks on Gulf states hosting US military forces.

The Ministry of Education revoked the school's licence, halted new student admissions and advised parents to transfer their children to other schools.
