21 January 2026 11:13
Russian forces carried out another overnight attack on Ukraine, launching an Iskander-M ballistic missile along with 97 unmanned aerial vehicles, around 70 of which were Shahed-type drones.
According to the post shared by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram, Ukrainian air defences intercepted or electronically suppressed 84 of the drones. Despite this, impacts from the ballistic missile and 13 strike UAVs were recorded across 11 different locations. In one additional location, debris or downed aerial targets were reported to have fallen.
The Ukrainian military said the attack was still ongoing at the time of the report.
