Air raid sirens sounded in central, southern Israel Palestine urges int'l pressure on Tel Aviv

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) air-raid sirens sounded in the town of Beit Shemesh, central and southern Israel.

Beit Shemesh is located in the Jerusalem district, on the road from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, IDF wrote in its Telegram channel, Caliber.Az reports.

On the same day, an air alert was declared in Kibbutz Kerem Shalom, located in southern Israel, and Ashkelon.

Sirens were also heard in the central region of Israel and areas bordering the Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls on the international community to put real pressure on Israel amid continued attacks on the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry noted that they support an end to the aggression of the Jewish state against the Palestinian people.

"The [Palestine] Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs has called for real international pressure to immediately stop [Israel's] aggression against our Palestinian people, continue the delivery of humanitarian aid and raise the importance of a political solution to the Palestinian problem and end the occupation of state lands from Palestine," the message says.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry added that Israel continues to bomb Gaza and is allegedly committing war crimes against the inhabitants of the region. The department emphasized that the international community shows a weak or biased reaction to the steps of the Israeli state.
