Al Hadath: Israel, Lebanon to hold high-level talks in US on April 14

Israel and Lebanon will hold ambassador-level negotiations in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, April 14, according to Al Hadath.

A source told the broadcaster that the United States has guaranteed that the Lebanese capital Beirut will be protected from strikes until that date.

The report added that the aim of the talks is to consolidate the ceasefire, with the sides set to discuss Israel’s troop withdrawal, the weapons of the Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah, border issues, and the release of prisoners.
