A drone attack struck the Mansour district of Baghdad, Iraq’s capital, targeting what security sources described as an Iraqi intelligence building, according to Al Jazeera Arabic.
An AFP report cited an unnamed source indicating that the building houses a security agency that collaborates closely with U.S. advisers operating in Iraq.
Another drone, reportedly filming the operation, crashed into a private members’ sports club frequented by Iraq’s elite and foreign diplomats, AFP added. No casualties have been immediately confirmed.
Iraqi authorities have not yet released an official statement regarding the attack.
