Al Masirah: Houthis strike Israel with hypersonic missile
The Yemeni Houthi movement “Ansar Allah” claimed to have launched a hypersonic ballistic missile at targets in Tel Aviv, according to Al Masirah TV.
Movement spokesman Yahya Saree announced that Yemeni forces used a multi-charge hypersonic missile, dubbed “Palestine-2,” which he said “successfully struck targets” in the Jaffa district of Tel Aviv.
Earlier in September, the Houthis launched at least two missiles toward Israel, which detonated over Saudi Arabia. The attacks came after the group buried 11 of its political leaders killed in an Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) operation known as “Drop of Luck.”
On 16 September, the IDF carried out 12 missile strikes on Yemen’s Hodeidah port, completely destroying a pier. Despite the damage, port operations reportedly continued.
