Ali Tekin Atalar, prominent Azerbaijani diaspora leader in UK, dies
Ali Tekin Atalar, a prominent member of the Azerbaijani diaspora in the United Kingdom and head of the Azerbaijan House Cultural Friendship Centre in London, has died, the Azerbaijani Embassy in the UK has stated.
Sharing a post on X, it said Atalar played an important role in promoting Azerbaijan in Britain and fostering unity within the Azerbaijani community, Caliber.Az reports.

“For many years, Ali Tekin made significant contributions to promoting Azerbaijan in the United Kingdom and strengthening the unity of the Azerbaijani community. His contributions to the development of relations between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom, as well as to reinforcing the brotherly ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, will always be remembered with deep respect,” it noted.
The embassy extended its deepest condolences to Dr Atalar's family, loved ones and all who knew him, wishing them strength and patience during this difficult time.
