Ambassador: Israel strikes IRGC airbases in Isfahan
Israeli Ambassador to the US, Yechiel (Michael) Leiter, has provided an update on the 10th day of Operation Epic Fury, stating that Israeli forces have struck airbases controlled by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and drone command centres across Iran, including in Isfahan.
"Today, we have moved our efforts beyond Tehran to Isfahan. We destroyed airbases that are under the control of the IRGC, which they used to transport funds and terror outside of Iran. In addition, we took out UAV headquarters and command and control centers around the country," Caliber.Az quotes Leiter as saying in a video report he posted on X.
"We have to persist to complete what we set out to do," he said adding that Israel has to prevent Tehran from exporting ballistic missiles and enriching uranium, "which will endanger Israel and the entire world.
He added: "We must be patient as we take apart Tehran's tools of terror."
