Another Baku church collects batch of humanitarian aid for Türkiye PHOTO

Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is subject to Baku and Azerbaijan Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church, located on Shamil Azizbekov Street in the Nasimi district of Baku collected the first batch of humanitarian aid for Türkiye.

Caliber.Az reports that with the support of volunteers, the rector and church staff collected humanitarian aid for earthquake victims in Türkiye: blankets, warm clothes, baby food, nappies, and food.

Boxes with humanitarian aid were delivered to one of the collection centres.

In addition, the Charity and Social Service Department of the Baku and Azerbaijan Diocese began collecting humanitarian aid for earthquake victims in Türkiye.

The collection point is the Church of Archangel Mikhail in Baku (38, Zargarpalan Street, near Beshmertebe). The reception will be held until February 15. Reception is from 9:00 to 17:00. The phone number of the church is (012) 596-01-52.
