AP: Deadly shooting at Idaho restaurant leaves three dead, seven wounded

Three people were killed and seven others injured in a shooting at a restaurant in Twin Falls, Idaho, local authorities said.

The incident took place at an In-N-Out Burger location in southern Idaho city, Caliber.Az reports via the Associated Press (AP).

According to eyewitnesses, an unidentified man wearing glasses opened fire on customers inside the burger restaurant with an AR-style rifle before leaving the building and continuing to shoot outside.

US media reported that the restaurant is located in a busy shopping area, where hundreds of people were present around 2:00 p.m. when the shooting occurred.

Several of the injured victims are in serious condition. The body of the shooter was found near the restaurant, although it remains unclear whether he is among the casualties confirmed by authorities.

Authorities are currently working to establish the shooter's identity and determine the motive behind the attack.
