Araghchi in Oman for crucial discussions with US envoys photo / video

The Iranian delegation, headed by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, has arrived in Muscat ahead of scheduled talks with US representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, which are due to take place later today.

According to Iran’s Foreign Ministry press service, the meeting will focus on a range of key issues, with particular attention to negotiations between Iran and the United States regarding Tehran’s nuclear program.

Prior to the discussions with the American side, Araghchi held talks with Oman’s Foreign Minister, Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud al-Busaidi. Their meeting addressed major bilateral, regional and international matters, including Oman’s role in facilitating the Iran-US negotiations.

The talks in Muscat are expected to be a significant step in ongoing diplomatic efforts between Tehran and Washington.
