Arda Turan quits football
Arda Turan announced that he has ended his professional football career.
"I want to start by telling you a secret. I fell in love with football. Then I threw myself on the street and the rest came,” TRT Haber reports.
Arda Turan, who started with expressions such as, talked about his beginning in football and his career with an emotional expression.
In his farewell video to football, Arda Turan also talked about the people he considers very important for him in his career, including his first speech with coach Fatih Terim, and used the following statements:
"I met Fatih Terim on a holiday morning in Florya. While waiting for the feast in the basketball hall, as Fatih coach approached me, I felt like my heart would burst. I was a small child. It was very difficult to describe the love I felt in Galatasaray, one of the most important figures in the riveting of this love. someone was reaching out to me: Happy holidays Arda. Maybe my story was not very long, it was 13-14 years and I had heard my name many times before, but for the first time I could not believe my ears, I was very happy that the greatest football hero of our generation knew my name. We went out that day. In fact, he went on this road with Fatih teacher. It was long, there were difficult times, but it was always separate, special. I loved spending time with him and learning from him, life is beautiful when he is with you."
Explaining that he wanted to go abroad by earning money for the club in order to pay off his debt to Galatasaray and that he was very happy to be transferred to Atletico Madrid in this way, Arda emphasized that he won one of the most difficult league championships in football history there.
Explaining that he is very happy to play in every game that a football player can play at the club level, Arda said that he had a very good time in his Barcelona career, which he later transferred to.

Arda stated that every moment he spent at Galatasaray was very precious for him, and said:
"Life is sometimes just a cycle, to complete the circle, you return to the place you started. Even though there are countless sacrifices you have to make. Every moment at Galatasaray is very precious to me. There will be things that I keep in my heart, of course, but I have always looked at Galatasaray with love. This game is my Galatasaray" No matter what happens, this is me, Arda. Arda, who lives with love, sometimes impulsively, acting with his emotions, always giving everything in his life to win but never hitting below the waist, never cheating. For me, for my mother, for my father, for my brother, my wife. And it has been an amazing journey for my children and I hope it has been for you too."
Stating that throughout his career, he gave his rights to everyone, including those who valued him, cherished him and hated him, Arda concluded his words as follows:
"Because this story should have had it all, and get your dues. Now it's time to hang up the boots with tears but courage. As I retire from the field, I return to the days when I thought 3-1-1 or 2-2-1 at the beginning of my story. Throughout the entire journey "I tried to do my best. I think I didn't do a bad job.
