Argentina has no plans to jointly produce arms with Ukraine

Argentine presidential spokesman Manuel Adorni has said that Argentina has no plans to work together with Ukraine to produce weapons, as it currently has no capacity for that.

"This is not going to happen. We do not have the capacity to [jointly] produce [weapons] at the moment. No such joint work is planned," Adorni told reporters, according to Sputnik.

Argentinian newspaper Perfil reported on May 30, citing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, that Argentina could become an important partner for Ukraine in arms and drone production. Zelenskyy reportedly made that remark during a press conference with Latin American journalists in Kyiv.
