Arkia to launch first Israeli flights to Türkiye in 15 years

Arkia airlines announces that it will launch new flights to Türkiye , the first Israeli company to fly there in 15 years.

The announcement comes a day after Israel’s ambassador to Türkiye Irit Lillian presented her credentials as the two countries restored full diplomatic ties, The Times of Israel reports.

Israeli airlines stopped flying to Türkiye amid security fears.

Arkia will begin flying to Istanbul in late February and flights to Antalya will start a month later.
