Armenia’s Pashinyan says Civil Contract to form government after elections
Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has stated that, following the results of the elections, the ruling Civil Contract party will secure a parliamentary majority and form the government.
“There will be an opportunity to discuss this issue in the coming months,” he said in parliament, where he attended discussions on the 2025 budget.
According to preliminary data from the Central Election Commission, the results are as follows:

Civil Contract Party – 49.81% (727,160 votes)

Strong Armenia bloc – 23.29% (340,062 votes)

Armenia bloc – 9.94% (145,097 votes)

Prosperous Armenia Party – 4% (58,368 votes)
A total of 1,476,916 citizens took part in the vote.
Parliamentary elections were held in Armenia on June 7, with 16 political parties and two blocs participating.
