Armenian PM engages in talks with German president in Berlin
The meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier has kicked off in Berlin.
The talks are taking place at the Bellevue Palace, the official residence of the German President, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
Following the official welcome and ceremonial photo session, Prime Minister Pashinyan signed the book of honorary guests.
The leaders are first holding a private meeting, after which discussions will continue in an expanded format.
The German side is represented by the State Secretary, Head of the Office of the Federal President, Dörte Dinger, State Secretary of the Federal Foreign Office Géza Andreas von Geyr, and others.
The Armenian delegation includes Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan, Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan, Head of the Armenia–Germany Friendship Group of the National Assembly Vladimir Vardanyan and others. The agenda covers comprehensive issues related to the further development of Armenia-Germany relations.
