Armenian Red Cross delivers 12 generators to aid Ukraine’s energy crisis
The Ukrainian Embassy in Armenia, with support from the Armenian Red Cross Society, has delivered 12 inverter generators to Kyiv, the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
“The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Armenia delivered another batch of inverter generators (12 units) to the Ukrainian MFA. <…> These mini power plants were purchased as part of the WarmthForUkraine initiative, launched by Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, with the assistance of the Armenian Red Cross Society,” the ministry said in a Telegram post.
Ukraine has been grappling with electricity shortages since late 2025 due to severe cold and extensive damage to its energy infrastructure. A state of emergency remains in effect for the energy sector, with many regions still subject to multi-hour daily power outages.
