Armenian security chief outlines Washington agreements in Berlin talks
Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan, currently on a working visit to Berlin, held a meeting on September 12 with Geza Andreas von Geyr, State Secretary of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
The meeting was reported by the Armenian Security Council, according to Armenian media cited by Caliber.Az.
During the talks, Grigoryan presented the outcomes of the agreements reached in Washington and highlighted the economic opportunities emerging as a result.
Von Geyr, in response, expressed high appreciation for the efforts of the Armenian government aimed at establishing stable and long-term peace in the region.
The two sides also reviewed the broader agenda for the development of bilateral relations between Armenia and Germany.
Special attention was given to new prospects for economic cooperation created following the lifting of the blockade, with both parties expressing readiness to move forward in this direction.
Cooperation in the energy sector, along with other issues on the bilateral agenda, was also discussed.
