At least 10 soldiers injured in Iranian strike on military base in Kuwait
As a result of an Iranian strike on a military camp in the emirate, 10 Kuwaiti armed forces personnel were injured.
According to Caliber.Az, citing foreign media, this was reported on social media platform X by the official spokesperson of the country’s Ministry of Defence, Colonel Saud Al Atwan.
“Over the past 24 hours, the armed forces have detected 14 hostile ballistic missiles and 12 drones in Kuwait’s airspace. As a result of a strike on one of the military camps, 10 servicemen were injured and are receiving the necessary medical assistance. The facility also sustained material damage,” the statement said.
Al Atwan added that warehouses belonging to a private logistics company were also targeted, causing material damage but no casualties.
According to updated data from the Ministry of Defence, since February 28, Kuwaiti forces have recorded a total of 307 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles, and 616 unmanned aerial vehicles in the country’s airspace.
