Australia urges citizens to leave Middle East immediately
The Australian Government has issued an urgent travel advisory, urging its citizens to leave the Middle East immediately amid rising regional tensions.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) warned that the likelihood of ongoing and escalating conflict in the region is high. In a statement issued in X, DFAT strongly recommended that Australians do not delay their departure and take advantage of available commercial flights.
We are concerned this regional conflict is likely to continue and could escalate.
