Average cost of house in US breaks historical record

The median home price has hit an all-time high in the United States.

This figure for the first time exceeded $400,000 and reached 413,500, according to Bloomberg. 

The increase in the indicator compared to 2021 amounted to 14.2 per cent. 

The monthly payment for an existing single-family home with a 20 per cent down payment jumped to $1,800 in the second quarter, according to the National Association of Realtors.

Positive dynamics compared to the first quarter of this year amounted to 32 per cent, or $444. Compared to 2021, the indicator increased by 50 per cent.
