AZAL to launch direct flights to Seoul starting May 2025

Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) will begin operating direct flights between Baku and Seoul, the capital of South Korea, starting in May 2025.

The announcement was made during an event focused on the tourism potential of Azerbaijan, held in Seoul with the organizational support of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, Caliber.Az reports.

According to the report by the State Tourism Agency, the direct flights will be operated once a week, providing a convenient connection between the two capitals. Azerbaijani Ambassador to South Korea, Ramin Hasanov, noted that the new air route will significantly enhance bilateral relations and foster an increase in tourist traffic between Azerbaijan and South Korea.

The launch of direct route is expected to boost economic and cultural ties, offering greater opportunities for business, tourism, and people-to-people connections between the two nations.
