Azerbaijan Airlines cancels Baku-Tehran-Baku flight on January 9
Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has cancelled the scheduled Baku–Tehran–Baku flight on January 9.
The airline said information on the resumption of the route will be announced later, Caliber.Az reports per AZAL.
The company stated that AZAL apologises for the inconvenience, and thanks passengers for their understanding, adding that flight and passenger safety is their top priority. Passengers can contact the AZAL call center for more information.
Meanwhile, several flights from Dubai to Iran have also been cancelled. According to Dubai Airports, at least six flights to Iranian cities, including Tehran, Shiraz, and Mashhad, scheduled for January 9, were cancelled.
Flydubai confirmed it is cancelling its Iran flights planned for January 9 and will closely monitor the situation before making any further schedule changes.
