Azerbaijan Airlines launches direct flights between Baku, Kars PHOTO

Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) will launch direct scheduled flights between Baku and Kars in northeastern Türkiye, expanding its regional route network and strengthening air connectivity between the two countries.

According to the airline, the inaugural flight is scheduled for July 30, 2026, with services operating twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, Caliber.Az reports.

AZAL said the new route is expected to support the further development of business, tourism, and cultural ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.

Tickets for the Baku–Kars–Baku service are already on sale through the airline's official website and mobile application, as well as AZAL ticket offices and authorised travel agencies.
