AZAL receives Great Place to Work certification for first time
Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), part of AZCON Holding, has received the internationally recognised Great Place to Work® certification for the first time.
The certification confirms that the airline meets international standards in corporate culture and employee experience, Caliber.Az reports, citing AZAL's press service.
The Great Place to Work® certification is awarded following an independent assessment based on anonymous employee feedback. It is regarded as one of the internationally recognised indicators of corporate culture, trust in leadership, employee satisfaction, inclusiveness and a people-centred approach to management.

The survey found that around 80% of Azerbaijan Airlines employees who participated considered the company a reliable and comfortable place to work.
The national carrier views human capital as one of its key strategic development priorities and continues to invest consistently in its workforce. The company said it remains committed to supporting employees' professional growth, expanding opportunities for continuous learning and development, creating a healthy workplace with equal opportunities and introducing modern management practices.

"This certification holds special significance for us because it is based directly on the opinions of our employees. The result represents international recognition of the trust we have managed to build at Azerbaijan Airlines and confirms our consistent focus on developing human capital. We will continue to expand opportunities for employees' professional growth and strengthen a modern and inclusive corporate environment," Azerbaijan Airlines Human Resources Director Ellada Alishova noted.

The airline said obtaining the Great Place to Work® certification for the first time serves as international recognition of its long-term strategy focused on human capital development. The certification strengthens Azerbaijan Airlines' position as a reliable employer and confirms its commitment to employee development and job satisfaction.
