Azerbaijan Airlines suspends more routes due to regional airspace closures

Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has announced the cancellation of several more international flights due to escalating tensions in the Middle East and the closure of airspace by certain countries over safety concerns.

The airline’s press service told Caliber.Az that the following AZAL flights scheduled for Friday, June 13, have been cancelled:

• Baku – Lahore – Baku (J2 145/146)

• Baku – Mumbai – Baku (J2 059/060)

• Baku – Dammam – Baku (J2 8205/8206)

AZAL reaffirmed that passenger safety is its highest priority. The company stated it is closely monitoring developments in the region and will continue to keep passengers updated on any further changes.
