Azerbaijan and Mexico sign memorandum on diaspora cooperation PHOTO
Azerbaijan’s State Committee on Work with Diaspora and Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Institute for Mexicans Abroad, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The document was signed during a working visit to Mexico by the committee’s chairman Fuad Muradov, at a meeting with the head of the institute, Tatiana Clouthier, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The agreement aims to strengthen support for the activities of Azerbaijani and Mexican communities living abroad, protect their rights and interests, and establish mechanisms for cooperation in various fields.
Under the memorandum, the sides plan to hold regular consultations, expand the exchange of information and experience, and organize joint projects and training programs.
The document reinforces the institutional foundations of cooperation between the two countries in the field of diaspora affairs and lays the groundwork for broader initiatives in the future.
During the meeting, both sides also discussed their approaches to working with citizens living abroad and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
