Azerbaijan appoints new education counsellor to UK embassy PHOTO

Azerbaijan has appointed Rashad Khanlarov as Education Counsellor at its Embassy in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Khanlarov previously headed the Department for Citizen Services and Document Management at Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Science and Education. He has also held senior roles in international companies and served as director of the Baku State Centre for Vocational Education in Industry and Innovation, Caliber.Az reports.

Education counsellors in Azerbaijani diplomatic missions are tasked with promoting the country’s educational opportunities abroad and strengthening international cooperation in the sector. Their responsibilities also include supporting Azerbaijani citizens studying at foreign institutions, safeguarding their right to education, and coordinating relevant educational initiatives.
