Azerbaijan border guards seize over 21 kilograms of marijuana smuggled from Iran

Azerbaijani border authorities have intercepted a large consignment of illegal drugs being smuggled from Iran. 

The seizure took place at the Goytepe border guard detachment, where officers discovered 21 kilograms and 745 grams of marijuana during operational activities, Caliber.Az reports via the State Border Service. 

Authorities have confirmed that operational and investigative measures are ongoing to identify those responsible and prevent further trafficking.
