Azerbaijan demonstrates tactical combat flight simulator

"Iron Fist" new tactical combat flight simulator produced jointly by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence Industry and Deftech company has been demonstrated at the TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan Aerospace and Technology Festival.

“The simulator, including the engine of the flight simulator, have been fully produced by Azerbaijan,” advisor to the director of Deftech on technical issues, Kamran Asgarzade, told APA.

“It was developed by Azerbaijani engineers. We are working on software together with a Swedish company. Tests have been carried out inside the company, and the certificate will be received soon. We will demonstrate the flight simulator at ADEX international military exhibition. The simulator is primarily intended for the Azerbaijani Air Force. Then the products for export will be presented,” he said.

“The simulator has a high accuracy, close to reality. A simulator with a rotating cockpit will be used for combat training,” Asgarzade noted.
