Azerbaijan demonstrating its tourism potential at exhibition in Riyadh

The touristic potential of Azerbaijan continues to catch attention at an international tourism exhibition being held in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, from May 22 to 24.

The Azerbaijan Tourism Board and Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), including 12 local travel companies, are representing the country at the exhibition, Report informs, citing the State Tourism Agency.

As part of the exhibition, B2B meetings are held with foreign travel companies, including Flynas and Flydeal airlines, which operate direct flights from the largest cities of Saudi Arabia - Riyadh and Jeddah to Baku.

In addition, the tourism potential of Azerbaijan, including in the lands liberated from the Armenian occupation, was highlighted at the exhibition.

The state agency said that Azerbaijani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Shahin Abdullayev reviewed the Azerbaijani stand on the first day of the exhibition.

The exhibition organisers awarded the presenters of the Azerbaijani stand with the “Brilliant Partner” award.
