Azerbaijan detains Pakistani, Indian border violators
Azerbaijan has detained a Pakistani citizen, who was trying to cross from the country's territory into Russia.
The incident was registered on the official territory of the Khudat border detachment at 17:30 on May 21, Caliber.Az reports, citing the State Border Service.
As a result of the operational investigative measures, the State Border Service identified two more Pakistani citizens, suspected of assisting in the illegal border transgression.
Furthermore, the national border guards detained an Indian citizen attempting to illegally cross from Azerbaijan into Russia.
The border violator was detained in the service territory of the Lankaran border outpost in the direction of Iran, APA reports, citing the State Border Service.
During the investigation, it was determined that the detained person had officially arrived in Azerbaijan and intended to cross the state border illegally from Azerbaijan to Iran.
